Ida Catches Up
We’ve been moving north all week, staying ahead of the storm, but she finally caught up with us. We were planning to go hang out near Dartmouth, hit some of Panda’s old haunts from his hard partying college days, but the rain’s put a serious damper on that. I think the new plan is to catch a leisurely breakfast then find a place to rehearse, try to work up some new tunes.
The Nor’Easter Tour has been a resounding success. King Wilkie was great last night. I describe it as Old Crow Medicine Show and the Beatles’ love child. Very cool. Tonight we’re on our own at the East Hartford Community Cultural Arts Center. This is a great venue with great beer and good sound. We’re giving away #TwitterTix, again, to tonight’s show, but you have to follow us on Twitter to win them: @stringdusters.
Tomorrow we slam into the Del McCoury Band in Albany, NY. We’ve been looking forward to that show for a long long time. Hope to see you out.
